Ma'u Henua News – Rapa Nui Repatriation 2018

After seven days in New Zealand, the Ka Haka Hoki Mai Te Mana Tupuna Committee was able to accomplish the dream of many Rapa Nui: bring back home some of the Tupuna that have been taken away from them and are spread all over the world so that the island can be what it used to be. On January 31, 2018 the first two Tupunas arrived in the Island, proving that repatriation is possible when there is effort and good will involved. 

Luego de 7 días en Nueva Zelanda, la comitiva de Ka haka hoki mai te mana tupuna, cumplió el sueño de muchos Rapa Nui: Traer de vuelta a los Tupuna que se encuentran repartidos por el mundo para que la isla vuelva a ser la misma de antes. El pasado 31 de enero, llegaron las 2 primeras osamentas que demuestran que la repatriación si es posible con voluntad y esfuerzo.
